A studio that runs the software it sells
VixitAI Studios is the engineering arm of VixitAI. We are unusual in one specific way: most of what we show you is software we built for ourselves, operate in production, and are still responsible for when it breaks at an inconvenient hour.
Why that matters when you are choosing a vendor
An agency that only does project work hands over at launch and never learns what happens in month eight. We run a multi-tenant clinical system, a rental marketplace, a news platform, a sports analytics product and an automated newspaper generator. Every one of them has taught us something that would have been invisible from the outside — the invoice counter that races, the refund policy the code cannot honour, the carousel that dies on a touch gesture the browser reports differently than expected.
That experience is what you are buying. Not a portfolio of screenshots.
How we work
We write the architecture down first, briefly, including the three things most likely to go wrong. We build in vertical slices so you can click something real early. We measure rather than assert — if we tell you a page got faster, there is a Lighthouse run behind it.
And we tell you when we are wrong. Several of the case studies on this site document our own defects and our own wrong diagnoses, because a vendor who never reports a problem is not a vendor without problems.
What we will not do
We will not claim certifications we do not hold. We build to the practices that HIPAA and SOC 2 test for — tenant isolation, role-based access, audit logging, encryption at rest, credential rotation — but we have no attestation, and if your procurement requires one we will say so at the first call.
We will not put a number on the page we cannot defend. You will not find an uptime guarantee here that is not backed by an agreement.
We will not take on work we are not right for. If your project needs a specialism we do not have, saying so costs us one contract and saves you a year.
Where we are
We work with clients internationally and are based in India. Our team is remote and our working hours overlap the US business day for scheduled calls; for anything urgent we agree a response window in writing rather than implying one.
Frequently asked
How big is the team?
Small and senior. That is a genuine constraint as well as a feature — we take on a limited number of projects at a time, and we would rather tell you we are full than staff your project thinly.
Do you take equity or work on a revenue share?
Occasionally, for products where we would be a genuine partner rather than a supplier. It is a conversation, not a standing offer.
What happens after launch?
Whatever we agree in writing beforehand. We can hand over completely with documentation, stay on for maintenance, or operate the infrastructure for you. All three are normal.
